According to the Sources, the Company is working on a motocycle internally code-named B110 which will have a 4 - cylinder 1200cc engine. According to TVS spokesperson, he has confirmed that the company will be setting up a differentiated sales channel for the Norton brand in India. "Two new models will be lauched towards the end of this year, including a flagship superbike.
Company is in the advance stage of preparing to launch the bike into the market. As we gear up for this exciting offering, our efforts will be focussed towards delivering differentiated retail experience that reflect the brand's philosophy of Design, Dynamism, and Detail.
The company did not gave the complete information about the bike, it will be either be the fully faired Norton V4 SV, or the nakes V4 CR. While the term 'flagship superbike' would suggest that the SV is the bike in question, it was actually the cafe-racer style V4 CR that was on display at the TVS stand at the 2025 Auto Expo.
Both the bikes are premium motorcycles, positioned above the competition from Italian manufaturers like Ducati. If we talk about the features you will get a 1200cc V4 engine that produces 185hp at 12000rpm and 125 Nm at 9,000rpm. Both the vehicles uses the high end aluminium chassis with CNc billet aluminium swingarms and have high spec Ohlins and Brembo cycle parts.
If we talk about the price, the bike is going to be little expensive, price is approximately 42,000 Euros which is approximately 40,30,000 in Indian rupees. It will benefit from the recently announced Free Trade Agreement between India and the UK. Moreover, TVS is already working on localised content for all Norton products, so it will be interesting to see what synergies the company can put in place when it comes to competitive pricing.
In any case, the Norton V4 is an ultra-premium, high-performance machine, and it won’t come cheap. However, the story might be different for the second model set to debut alongside it. We’ve previously reported that TVS is developing all-new single and twin-cylinder mid-size motorcycles under the Norton brand, and one of these could launch later this year.
Norton has six new products planned over the next three years, and there’s plenty to look forward to from the brand.
